Good on ya mate. Thats the only way to be. Im not one for shows, most times its the judges friends who win the trophies anyway. I much prefer to just cruise in a valiant then to see the same cars over and over at the same shows.

Put the screens back in after paint, best to get nice layer of paint in the windscreen channels.

What John says is correct, with the radiator they came out with originally is more then upto the task, as they never got hot when they were new. Problem is most times they do block up with rust or crud and they run warm then. In my vc i had reco`d the original 2 core and it ran fine for years, but recently it started to run a bit warm again and that was only after a couple of months after i fitted a new water pump, flushed the whole cooling system out including heater and fitted all new hoses. So with the current cheap prices of aluminium radiators on ebay i fitted a 3 core which is suitable for a xy xr Falcon v8 and she runs great now.

Au twin thermos seem to be the go which most people put on just about anything, but you can get them pretty cheap on ebay or even buy them new fairly cheap. Measure the size of the area u want to fit them then go from there.
