Bent bumper irons were the problem so a tweak here & a bash there she was close. Refitted the bumper supports and bumper is now ready to send off for rechroming.

I'm upgrading my 265 engine to above E49 Spec and will need extra cooling ability. Will the addition of an electric fan be enough or will I need an upgraded radiator. If its the later does anyone have recommendations for the best radiator option. Many thanks.

You shouldn't need extra cooling. One of our Vals is E49+ spec, webers & 4spd, and gets driven pretty hard. The old 2 core factory radiator which turned out to be more than half blocked was fine and we only got it re-cored (2 core) due to a rock going through it. Good luck with it

Merry Xmas mopar men,
Can anyone recommend a compatible electric fan set up for a VJ v8 3 core radiator? I've heard au falcon ones do the trick, not sure.
Cheers

With a good condition 3 core Valiant copper radiator you shouldn't need an electric fan but if you want to go that path it'd be worth talking to someone like Bradley at Richmond Exhaust & Radiators as he knows Valiants  :)

Hi Richard,

Fotobucket has been sending me heaps of emails about the 100% sharing of images I've done over the years and are sort of saying that they'll restrict my account and maybe block some of my images if I continue adding and sharing images without becoming a paid member @ US$399 a year ?

This being the case what's your suggestion re photos ?

Cheers
John

Looking good John, keep chipping away at it mate.  :)

One day at a time Adrian.

Bonnet went to panel guy a week ago. It was damaged in a ding by a childhood friend of mine at least 38 years ago, they started repairing it but must have found a replacement bonnet so this sat rust free in dry storage for 35 years and then got given to me. Front section of sub frame will be replaced.
