1966 AP6 Safari Project
« on: June 11, 2017, 06:47:34 AM »
The wife's 1966 AP6 Valiant Safari factory V8 body #313 (of a known minimum 363 ever built). Shes an on going project (both of them).

Picked up from Christchurch 16 February 2012 and put in the then spare shed while our 1972 Valiant Charger was completed.

Snuggly into the shed.

That's awesome, most of it looks really good except for that tailgate. I love the look of all the glass blaster and restored parts.

Looks like you had a whole paddocks worth of hay in that spare tyre well.

Looking great John, I also liked the hay barn in the spare wheel well.

Love the before and after shots, can never get enough of that clean metal.

Been plodding along with bits & pieces, stripped the doors out, found the rust, blasted the rust, fixed the rust, POR 15d all the seams inside the doors, painted inside of doors body colour, blasted & painted exterior of doors.
